Day 1 Havana arrival (Guests must arrive to Havana no later than 1:00pm EST on 2/21/2019), welcome reception with mojito demonstration and dinner
Day 2 Havana city tour, cooking demo, panoramic tour of Havana, visit local artist studio & American antique car ride
Day 3 Cigar time! Ernest Hemingway house, visit handicrafts market, interactive after-school community project and hotel sites
Day 4 Off to Las Terrazas and overview with local naturalist, Vinales Valley and Los Jazmines
Day 5 Explore Vinales, visit a local farm, prehistory mural and farewell dinner

About Annette Morejon, ITMI Lead Instructor & Tour Director This educational people-to-people tour will include helpful insights about Cuba and how to successfully tour direct in this rewarding yet challenging destination. During your trip learn the ins and outs of US-Cuba policies, local regulations, and helpful tips. Annette is a Cuban-American that has worked extensively with Cuba over the last 7 years. As former Director of Operations for one of the leading Cuban DMC’s, she assisted many tour operators in developing and managing their programs in Cuba and also helped to train national guides and oversee all tour operations in country. Annette is part owner of Daiquiri Tours (a small tour operator that organizes trips to Cuba and Europe) and Whisper System in the US and Cuba (radio guide systems for guided tours). She loves sharing her passion for Cuba with others and understands the important impact that tourism has on the island nation.

If you need assistance with flights, we can also assist! Don’t forget that all attendees must arrive in Havana no later than 1:00pm EST on February 21, 2019
